HVAC Inlet Filter

When choosing a HVAC college program, the most important point that you must ascertain is that your preferred destination college you have selected has the necessary accreditations. This is ultra important, as it means that the training provided will be at least as good as specified by professional HVAC organizations.

The most prominent accrediting agencies for HVAC training programs are the NCCEA, which is the Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration, HVAC Excellence, North American Technician Excellence and Research, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. You MUST select a college that has a minimum of at least one accreditation.

Smaller class sizes are also important, which means you will get one on one assistance from the program teachers. The best colleges teaching HVAC courses will also have an on-campus science lab with professional-grade tools. Before enrolling make sure you visit and explore the campus and get a feel for the place, the instruction rooms, the facilities and talk to the teachers, if possible. You should also find out whether there is any flexibility in scheduling classes for students with external jobs, and also how you should go about procuring financial aid, if you are eligible.

Fan applications with airstreams of explosive or flammable particles or gases require spark-resistant system components for the safe handling of such airstreams. This includes components such as ductwork, dampers, filter devices, heating or cooling coils, and fans. This article presents practical considerations and methods of providing fans with varying types of Spark-Resistant Construction (SRC). The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) established a standard set of Classifications for Spark-Resistant Construction.
